Kaitlin McGrath, APRN, CNM

Kaitlin McGrath is a Certified Nurse Midwife who is passionate about empowering women to take an active role in their healthcare. With a focus on holistic and personalized care, Kaitlin strives to create a supportive, collaborative birthing experience where women are partners in their decision-making. Her approach encompasses women’s health at all stages, from menarche to menopause, ensuring care that honors the diversity of every woman’s journey.

Born and raised in the Houston area, Kaitlin earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She began her career in high-risk antepartum nursing and later transitioned to labor and delivery. During her 11 years at a Level 4 maternity care center, Kaitlin cared for critically ill mothers and newborns, sharing both the joy and heartbreak that comes with those transformative moments in their lives. These experiences ignited her passion to expand her practice, leading her to pursue Nurse Midwifery at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, where she earned her graduate degree with honors.

Kaitlin now resides in the Heights with her husband. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, spending time with loved ones, and volunteering at a local animal rescue.
